I just purchased a plan in a Home Depot store (not at gtahomeprotectionplan.ca). How do I ensure my product is protected?

Your product is protected. Have you saved your paper receipt with us? You’ll need this receipt to file a claim. Paper receipts from stores can be misplaced or fade quickly. By saving your receipt with us, you’ll have everything you need should something happen to your protected product.

I just purchased a product and plan at gtahomeprotectionplan.ca How do I ensure my product is protected?

Your product is protected. The next step is to save your receipt with us. This enables you to find it quickly if you need it in the future. Your receipt can be your order confirmation. If your product fails, please return to this site to file a claim.

How can I learn about what's covered?

Terms and conditions were made available to you at the time of sale. If purchased in a Home Depot store, your brochure contains your product coverage details and terms. For online purchases, you received an email containing your program terms. Sample coverage can be found in the terms and conditions

Can I view my plans?

Yes! To view your plans, we will just need you to provide your email address or phone number. For online purchases, you can use an order number as well.

How do I cancel or return my Home Depot Protection Plan?

Within 30 days, please bring your receipt to the store where you purchased your plan. If it has been more than 30 days since you purchased the plan, you’ll need to send us a written request that includes a copy of your receipt and the plan’s terms and conditions. How do I register my product?

You can complete your registration by saving your receipt. You will need this receipt if you file a claim later.

Why should I save my receipt?

We require that you provide a receipt when you file a claim. By saving your receipt now, it will be easier to file a claim later. Paper receipts from your local store can be misplaced or fade quickly, making them harder to read.

What if I don't have my receipt?

If you purchased your product at a local Home Depot store with a credit card or pre-paid credit card, please visit this store to request a duplicate copy.

Why do you need my mobile number?

If you saved a paper receipt with us and want to file a claim, you’ll be able to locate your receipt quickly using this mobile number. Your phone number will not be shared in any way other than as disclosed in our  Privacy Policy.

I just saved my receipt – is there anything else I need to do?

You are all set! We’ll send you an email confirmation indicating that you’ve successfully saved your receipt with us. If you texted your receipt to us, we’ll send you a text confirmation indicating you successfully saved your receipt.

What if I can't find my receipt? I saved it on this website.

You can locate your receipt by using the mobile number or email address you originally used to save your receipt.
